A Study In Stillness and Shift
Change has always been hard for me, as it is for many. I’ve often felt like I must control what I cannot – especially other people’s emotions. In some ways, I still do. Yet, change is a shared human experience; learning to adapt and grow with it is a part of what it means to be human. Change, however, doesn’t exist only within us. It unfolds constantly around us – in politics, nature, architecture, media , and every corner of our environment. My portfolio focuses on both the internal and external dimensions of change. Through naturalistic elements as well as people, I examine the tension between movement and stillness, and how these forces coexist in the world around us.
